How is Your Diet?

Is your diet filled with French Fries and Pop Tarts? If so you might want to start to take a look at what is going into your body. I know, it taste really good. But an hour later are you really thinking about that Pop Tart? Probably not. So why not fuel your body with healthy food that will support the other changes that you are making. You don't have to change everything, but little steps are a really good start. Maybe just make adjustments to one meal, or replace a few Diet Cokes with Lemon flavored water. You will see changes in the way you feel pretty quickly.

Changing my diet was something my doctor insisted on. She said if I wanted to have any chance of feeling better I had to eat to live, not live to eat.

It is really a hard thing to do. My family adopted the "cheat meal". We all try to eat really clean during the week and then Saturday night we take turns picking where we really want to go eat. During that meal we can have what we want - once you leave the table that's it for the week. I will tell you that it really makes you enjoy that dinner a lot more.

Today think about what you could change. Add more veggies, avoid the chips, skip the extra cookie? It's not about our waistlines as much as those foods are so bad for our system and they can really end up adjusting our moods.

Wishing you peaceful thoughts today,
Amy
