Thank You

Being truly thankful is a really strong emotion. It's easy to say "Thanks" as some one holds the door open for you at the grocery store, but are you really feeling the emotion?

A great way to end your day is to simply write down 5 things that you are thankful for that day. It can be small - the $5 I found in my jacket, a car that runs, a call from a friend. Nothing earth shattering.

When we become anxious and stressed we often get in the habit of looking at what's wrong. Everything starts to focus around the negative. But a really amazing thing happens when you take a look at all of the good that is already going on around you & feel thankful.

As you "nest"every night before bed, don't forget a thank you from the heart for all that is going right in your life. The more you do it, the more it will expand. The negative stuff gets harder to find.

Wishing you peaceful thoughts today,
Amy

Quote of the Day

"We can only be said to be alive in those moments when our hearts are conscious of our treasures." ~Thornton Wilder
