A drink for your health?

When I was looking for a solution I had a lot of people tell me that I should just have a few glasses of wine at night and I would be fine. The thing was every time I tried that I felt terrible.

Actually the alcohol can bring on panic attacks, sometimes terrible ones when the effects wear off. Alcohol depresses the central nervous system and causes fatigue, agitation and anxiety. Consuming too much can lower blood sugar and cause irregular heartbeats leading to increased anxiety.

Personally, I did not like loosing control and did not want to rely on this method. I also don't like strange feelings in my body, it starts my mind racing. So it's a good thing that it did not work for me.

This is actually the worst method of anxiety relief and very dangerous.

Think health! Don't choose alcohol as relief. Limit your intake.
Wishing you peaceful thoughts today,
Amy

Quote of the Day

"Man seeks to escape himself in myth, and does so by any means at his disposal. Drugs, alcohol, or lies. Unable to withdraw into himself, he disguises himself. Lies and inaccuracy give him a few moments of comfort."
Jean Cocteau
