Over the last year as The Daily Egg has gone out every night, my thought of the day has always just been what's on my mind for that day. I think it's time to simplify the system, and bring a little order.
Starting tonight, each week, we will focus on a different aspect of freedom. The first week of the month we'll take a look at our nutrition and supplements. The second week we will look at exercise and fitness. The last two weeks of the month we will focus on healing our minds.
My hope is that this will help you focus better each week and that the task at hand is not all over the map. My goal is to keep you motivated, interested and focused. If you feel lost or undirected, you will not benefit fully from our system.
My door is always open for suggestions or comments.

Pick Your Battles
It's fairly easy to get your feathers ruffled at the drop of a hat. The line is too long at the grocery store, our spouses aren't helping us as they should, and the kids are driving us nuts. Truth is we can't get upset and frustrated over every situation-we have to pick our battles.
As we go through our day, we need to look in each situation that we face to determine if the battle is worth it. This can save us a lot of angry words that hurt feeling. Remember they don't always remember the kind words, but they always remember the harsh ones.
I think that family is the biggest area to choose your battle. As we deal with our spouses and kids. There are many times that we should shove it under the rug and let it fly. Then there are the days when we are already stressed out & decide to go into battle over something trivial. We seem to always lash out at those we love the most.
Next time you are faced with a battle, stop and take a deep breath - is it worth the battle? A lot of the time you will wind it's not worth it.
All the best,
Amy
